blog 12/30

Hey guys its ells, its been faaarrr too long since I've made a blog. I'm currently in english class but I'm incredibly bored and I remembered its been so long since I've made a blog post, so I thought I'd share a bit of what's been happening and my end of year thoughts now that the end of 2025 is upon us. To start, we celebrated my brothers birthday and had a couple of tests, which is really nothing compared to whats coming in the next month. I did my nails again and have been enjoying the rainy weather that has been going on and made some cinnamon rolls. I have, like many others, been relflecting on this past year and considering what I want to work on in the new year. I'm mostly focused on trying my best in school so I can finish the year with all A's and trying to enjoy my time in school and starting some sports. Not particularly unique, but I want to also try my best to improve on my self care regimes, that I consistently avoid like my life depends on it. I read a substack post about starting rituals instead of impossible resolutions and it really spoke to me. The idea of creating rituals that are easy to stick to and work on each day instead of unattainable goals that I get mad at myself for not completing. blog 12/8

Hey guys its ells, i haven't made a blog in a whilee. Coincidentally I again am in computer science class and we are starting css today! Very much exciting especially as someone who loves customizing things and making things cute. I was veryy sick for the past couple days, but am finally past it, and the only last vestiges of it include a nasty cough and my voice sounds a bit strange. We've got a buunch of tests coming up and i am not excited at alll. My newest obsession now that winter is in full swing is candy canes. I bought a pack and decided that for every school day in december, I was going to bring a candy cane with me to help keep me motivated during the icy months to come. I've got loads of laundry to do as well at the moment, which is a stressor I have to expel, but I simply don't have the patience unfortunately. little update 11/30

Hey guys its ells, i hope you guys have been great! I've been okay as of recent, and have thankfully been getting some good grades. Its so totally insane that its almost december!! I neeeed it to get colder soon or i will absolutely go insaneee. I got some new boots recently from a brand called Jenny and they're so cute! I also went grocery shopping today and got a bunch of snacks. I did break my water bottle today which was suuuper upsetting but i can only hope that my dad can fix it, and if it does get fixed ill let you guys know. For the past two days i've been working on a canva calendar for the new year and i cannot reccomend doing it enough so if you're looking for a fun activity to do for the new year, its so nice and gives a fun little vibe. one of my new favorite apps: substack

Hey guys its ells, and i've been trying to find something that i could post a review about since other than blogging i also wanted to give u guys recommendations for anything i find intersting. I finally found it with this app called substack. For some context, i found this app on Pinterest of course, since Pinterest is in fact my lifeline, and was immediately hooked. When i first downloaded it, i truly wasn't sure what to expect, but after being in the app for a while i found that it was really an app for writers and really anyone who loves writing, to post articles about topics they're interested in. I found mostly literature and history articles but there are many many different types of articles, about current events, science, lifestyle, and more that i probably just havent found yet. I found it so very intersting especially as someone who has always enjoyed seeing how people express themselves through writing and just learning about things from people who are so passionate that it makes me passionate as well. Anyhow, i would recommend this especially for people who are into reading articles a lot and finding new apps that you can discover and personalize to what you love to learn and read about. how i've been 11/14

Hi guyss its ells, and for the past 2 days it been rain and lightning but honestly i am not complaining. I love love love the rain for a million reasons, but my top are probably just getting to curl up in bed with a book or one of my comfort movies. Even on days that i have to study, i still prefer studying with the rain as my background noise. It honestly motivates me and reminds me of how fun it is to just stay at home and relax. I'm heading to my grandparents soon and finished studying for math for the day. My friend came over and i tutored her and we dressed up after and hung out which was really fun. On sunday i've got a huuuge science presentation so hopefully it'll go well but i'll let you guys knoww. Okay now i acc have to get ready to go to my grandparents for dinner. my day so far 11/11

Hi guys its meee, post sleepover. I had a lot of fun and built my own water filter for a science project. I just finished studying for math and its only 1pm which is quite great honestly. I've still got to pack my bag for school tomorrow and check on how the water filter is filtering. I went on a run this morning with my friend and it was so nice. I decided that i really love running, especially long distances. It was so refreshing and I ran about 2.9 kilometers in a half hour. I hope that for my first time running that isnt half bad. Anywho, i've got model un tomorrow which will be funnn since i am gonna get to work on my speeches with my friends, which is so much more fun than it is to write by yourself. The conference is really soon though, so i really do have to lock in and get ready, but with the tests and projects we have right now, its not suprising im struggling with focus. Thats all for now, and my daily reccomendation for this blog is to get the frosted cranberry wallflower from bath and body works cuz it smells soooo good! See u guys later, ells xx

my first blog!!

Hi guys, this is my first blog post of hopefully many and im probably just going to talk to you guys here about my life and my reviews of my favorite shows, movies, and more!! Ill start with my day today. I hate mondays with my whole heart and soul. Its got my worst classes but, today it was different because after school, my friend was going to come to sleepover. I was hyped about it all day and we talked about what we were going to do and what to bring. I had such a blast, especially as someone who loves planning and organizing things down to the littlest details. I really loved my outfit today as well, a cute pink shirt and matching headband, along with my jeans and platform uggs. The only downside was that i was on my lady days iykyk, which put me constantly on edge of accidentally bleeding through my clothes! Anyways, i still have to study for my math test on sunday and organize my room for the sleepover. As i write this im still at school, in computer science class. Ironic isnt it? Anywho, my reccomendation for this blog is to watch the series avatar: the last airbender since thats what im watching tonight!! See u guys later, ells xx
